HAPPY NEW YEAR :)
Happy 2026 ! thanks to all fans and well wishers for your support in 2025!!!
I’ve got some releases and projects lined up in 2026 – There is a new Noda & Wolfers album (already available in the merch section here on vinyl LP) – the third album of this Japanese dutch digidub project with Tokyo Melodica virtuoso Taka Noda (aka Mystica Tribe). Also soon a new Smackos album called ‘Come for the Universe Stay for the Clowns’ and in February the second installment of my new ZORLOK COMPRESSOR project.
A whole bunch of gigs in January and February…London Manchester Milano Lyon Antwerp and Pamplona (check the agenda section) notably 3 February I will give a concert on synthesizers and piano at the Theatre Amandiers in Nanterre France which will be recorded and broadcasted by ARTE TV – more info about that around that time 🙂
Also the gig in Antwerpen at TRAUM is Saturday 10 January not 9 January as previously mentioned in (bandcamp) newsletter emails and the agenda section,
9 January KODE9 is playing at TRAUM.
In other stuffffff…I also started work on a new (paper) Zine which hopefully will be out in the next few months, the zine will include a bunch of Wombald and Slorpy comics, lots of studio tips, interviews and fun stories and overal mayhem.
I did a lot of new paintings in 2025 you can check them out in the gallery section
I am currently painting on a whole bunch of ‘mini’ paintings (10 x 15 cm) which will be available at accessible prices, more news about that soon.
I also will keep working on my new feature animation film called ‘CODEX ELVADOR’ not sure if that is going to be finished in 2026 but I will keep you up to date with that and maybe we can throw out a trailer this year 😉
On instagram I record and post little movies on a regular basis with music /painting/animation stuff and assorted synth clownery, you can check that out here that is pretty much the only social media I do now, Facebook I rarely check or update – the Twitter page was deleted a while ago already. Ofcourse for the latest info always keep checking this Legowelt.org homepage 😉
Lots of Merch is available here in the Merch section – sweaters and shirts like the Legowelt Cyberwolf & ‘Side by Side we Ride Against the Hordes of EDM’ shirts, a lot of LPs and tapes some obscure stuff that is not available elsewhere.

Thick Basses, synthwavy pads & chords, poly modulated FX, haunting strings and triangle tones and much more! The samples are free to use in your music, for good music karma you can always donate something or buy something from my bandcamp page.

The prophet 600 is a polyphonic analog synthesizer from 1982 build in San Jose California – with a very distinct raw muscular grumpy ‘warm stormy fall / winter’ sound. Put on the market as a cheaper budget alternative for the famous Prophet 5 though it definitely has a more rougher spartanic sound that makes it a bit more edgy. This is a particular good synthesizer for (electro) bass sounds – it might even surpass the legendary Pro one as unlike that instrument the Prophet 600’s sounds retain a lot of their bass frequency When the resonance goes up. Definitely not as ‘fluid’ as a pro one but the Prophet 600 has a lot more ‘power’ in its sound.
The samples are in 16 bit wav mono – should be compatible with most samplers/ DAWs etc. Please note the root keys are all over the place (due to the Prophet 600’s vaguely erratic frequency knob system) so some samples might not sampled in a C note – but who cares, its not like we are going to play these samples like a grand piano…just play it by ear 😉

ZORLOK COMPRESSOR I
ZORLOK COMPRESSOR is a new project from Legowelt
Forged from dark wave rave – acidhall – dubstep (not the drop-bro EDM trash), electro – oldschool JUNGLE – digidub – bass and whatever flies with that.
Pushing the sound back into underground territories with a raw live energy. No mundane safe humdrum wallpaper club music or overproduced clean perfect stereo plastic sound but stuff to create temporal rifts in time & space on your dancefloor and in your mind.
These songs mostly started from the more intense later zones of Legowelt’s live performances — though these often start with ‘lighter’ electro, Italo disco, techno, acid pieces etc. it often flows into the sound of ZORLOK COMPRESSOR
So here begins the adventure: the first collection:

‘Of Synths in the Hobbitshire’
A new series of paintings called “of Synths in the Hobbitshire”.
I just felt like painting hobbits and synthesizers, or more precisely hobbit homes and their cosy gardens. For some reason I painted 11 of them.
Size of each painting = 21 by 29,7 centimeters (8.3 by 11,7 inches) and they come in a frame with passe partout. 300 € each + shipping, ships worldwide.
This will most likely make a great xmas present or lighten up any studio with a warm welcoming snug note 😉

Woooo I did a 2 hour masterclass for the Dutch NTR (NPS Teleac RVU VolksUniversiteit) educational broadcasting TV channel with Justin Verkijk – we take a look at how to make a song, playing live but also other things like how to develop as an artist and stuff like how to deal with social media and anxiety.
